HEAT LOSS FACTOR (U FACTOR)

A

B

C

D

The REGIONAL PVC window has a sufficiently low U factor to be effective even in type D climatic zones.

The U factor indicates the rate of heat loss. The lower the U factor, the slower the transfer from a warm area to a cold area. The US Department of Energy and Natural Resources Canada circumscribe climatic regions to assign minimum performance values for fenestration products.
